- 09.00 Örnsköldsvik Innovation Arena
- Thomas Edblad, Johanna Forsberg and Vanja Östman talk about the possibilities with a new innovation arena in Örnsköldsvik. They have all been involved in drafting the current proposal. A feasibility study has been made for a jointly owned company between the business community and the municipality. What is the next step, what are the goals for the company and what benefit do the companies see that it will provide?

Speaker spotlight
Gustav Borgefalk, CEO Katla Aero
Gustav is an entrepreneur and design researcher. He has extensive experience of global talent attraction for the public and private sectors. He is a co-founder of the technology platforms House of Education, Studentcompetitions.com and Katla Aero, where he has worked with strategy, product, business development and customer projects. Gustav will also research technologies in the future and have pursuing a doctorate in service design at the Royal College of Art in London. He has an MSc. from the Stockholm School of Economics and has attended a program in exponentially accelerating technological development at Singularity University / NASA in Silicon Valley.

Världsklass Örnsköldsvik is a joint development work where the municipality, business and association life develops the place Örnsköldsvik together.
It is in the nature of development work to change over time to find new and appropriate working methods based on what is needed to drive development further. Now is it's time for a new format.
Världsklass Örnsköldsvik is changing to become a fast-paced project factory as in collaboration with other actors plans and implements projects and initiatives that lead to population growth, benefits for companies and increased ability to innovate in Örnsköldsvik.
